I've updated my artwork section. Before it was just a dump of my latest posts on PD. Now its a selection of my favorite works for your viewing pleasure.

The art section still has a long way to go. I'll be adding better navigation and descriptions soon enough. For those interested, the art section is not databased but the data is in an XML file. I've been learning about XML, XSL, and how PHP can work with those sorts of documents so I'm trying to find ways to experiment

Yesterday I added a new Projects section to my site devoted to info on my projects. Much of it is just brief info on my projects but I intend to expand it more in the coming weeks.

I've been using Google Reader to subscribe to various RSS feeds. And there's this nifty feature where you can share an item that you find interesting. And then those shared items go on a shared page and then there's a feed for that shared page.

Happy New Year. Argh. I got the flu. I felt miserable last night. Most of today I spent in bed. I'm feeling a little better this evening though.

I was hoping to have the new PD site design ready for the 1st of the year but it looks like that wont be happening. I'm going to have to spend all of tomorrow packing and then moving on Friday. We are moving into our new house, yay!

But we can't really move in yet because it has to be tented for termites :-\ So we are just moving in our big furniture and boxes and not moving in any of our food yet. We wont be able to live in it until next week Friday-ish.

Some time after we're settled I'll get around to the new site design for PD. Probably mid january. The psd file is all ready to go. I just need to HTML-CSS-ify it. It actually isn't going to look that much different from the current design. I would consider it a refinement of the existing design.

Anyway, I'm going to take it easy tonight. No new years partying or anything. I'll probably be in bed long before midnight!
