Ok so we've had these blog things on PD for over a year and I have yet to really use them other than for testing purposes. So here goes!

I recently started a new forum topic for keeping track of all the major AND minor changes I make to the PD code. I'm finding that this has really helped me to be more motivated to fix the little things on PD. Adding another item to the Completed Items list gives me a feeling of gratification. Odd, isn't it.

Now that I'm no longer a student (hooray!) I'm enjoying life as a full fledged adult. When work is done I don't have to think about it anymore. I don't have to worry about homework and procrastinate or anything. When its not work hours I can do whatever I want! You have no idea how good that feels.

The only down side is that when I get home I'm usually tired and don't have enough hours to dedicate to heavy coding. So that's partly why I've been spending a lot of time fixing the little things. It doesn't take a lot of time to do each one.

Anyway, I hope to continue to make progress cleaning up the uncleanliness of PD. The new 2007 layout is so sweet looking that I think there are many areas of the site that don't measure up to the quality of the header and footer. I'd like to polish things up more. I'll also be cleaning up some of the PHP code. There's a lot of junk floating around. i'm sure it can be optimized and some of it even AJAX-ified.
